Superior operational reliability with the optimised M7173 KVT tractor

Nicolas Blumberg, Kubota Product Manager, takes us to AgriSight, a construction company near the city of Salzgitter. This time out we discover how Kubota tractors are the most suitable solution for earthmoving in difficult terrains.

AgriSight is a specialist earthmoving construction company based in Kirchberg, Lower Saxony. AgriSight chose to replace traditional tipper trucks with Kubota M7173 KTV tractors equipped with dumpers. Thomas Herrman, Managing Director at AgriSight explained that they remove the soil for the laying of underground cables in a trench that measures more than 13KM. The removed soil is mixed with sand before being laid back into the trench. This type of job requires the machinery to work with a lot of mud, explaining whyAgriSight chose to use three Kubota M7173 KTV tractors with wheel ballasts to help ensure perfect grip in adverse conditions and in environments where accessibility is limited for trucks.

HP

AgriSight’s great discovery has been to be able to use this compact 175 hp tractor with unique ballasts to ensure that it doesn’t get stuck in terrains where 250 hp machinery could be expected.

“In the six months of work with the M7173, we haven’t had any technical problems and our operators have also been very happy because the tractor is so comfortable”
