Kubota’s RTVs meet the requirements to operate at the Schotterwerk Johannes Mayer mine

Workers at the mine operated by Schotterwerk Johannes Mayer were clear that they couldn’t just use any machine. At this mine, located in Mötzingen (Germany), they carry out all mining and quarrying work, from rock extraction, to loading and transport. For that reason, they need reliable machinery to cope with the harsh working conditions. The requirements to choose that machinery were: good performance in tough terrain, smooth driving and quick and efficient maintenance. In 2020 they purchased three Kubota RTVs, and one of them has already achieved 1,000 working hours without incident. One of the main advantages of these machines is their ability to operate on the harsh quarry ground. “They use very robust technology, and when maintenance or replacement of parts is required, it can be done on site, thanks to their dimensions, which are perfect for our site,” said the managers of Schotterwerk Johannes Mayer.

“Our experience over the past two years has shown us that the Kubota RTVs meet all our requirements and their performance is just as we expected. These machines will remain our vehicle of choice in the future.”
